We encourage you to use the research material that was submitted in the recent review of the Animal Care & Protection Act in the state of Queensland Australia.  It includes submissions that relate to prohiting the unattended chaining of dogs, electric shock and choke dog collars, and the need to make shade shelter mandatory for farm animals in the climate crisis. An independent office of Animal Welfare.

We are calling for an independent office of animal welfare as current laws have little to do with animal welfare and ethics in Australia.  Scientific studies and evidence has been ignored by policy makers.
